Background
Philadelphia Gear was founded over a century ago to
provide state-of-the-art gearing for the emerging
industries of Pennsylvania. From those modest beginnings
in 1892, Philadelphia Gear has earned a global
reputation for expertise in power transmission solutions
for the world’s Energy, Infrastructure and Defense
industries.
Philadelphia Gear is initiating an aggressive
nation-wide effort to expand its small business
sub-contracting approved preferred vendor’s list due to
recent awards received or expected for several primary
or secondary military contracts that require compliance
with small business planning targets. At this time our
small business plan targets amount to $38M and will
cover the following commodity groups: Fabrications;
Machining; Castings; Fasteners; Fittings; Hardware; Heat
Treatment & Lumber.

be issued for attendance. Only ticket holders will be
admitted.
