Linda Harasin, MBA
BUSINESS
CONSULTANT
Linda
Harasin joined the Orange County Small Business
Development Center (SBDC) in spring of 2007. As a
business consultant, she presents training seminars on
various business-related topics and provides one-on-one
consultation services to entrepreneurs
interested in launching a business or taking an existing
business to the next level, or establishing a
GREEN industry enterprise.
With
almost 20 years of combined experience in the small
business community, television broadcasting industry,
and public relations agencies, Linda stands ready to
share her expertise in business planning and
development, financing, public relations, marketing and
the GREEN Industry.
She is Orange County SBDC's resident
GREEN expert with a wealth
of knowledge on Eco-friendly conversion and best
practices.
She returned to the Orange County SBDC
having previously served in its Entrepreneur Training
Institute in the late 1990s. Linda
is also an adjunct instructor for Santa Ana College
where she teaches business communications, marketing,
business planning, and small business management. She
has taught a variety of business classes through
California State University, Fullerton; Saddleback
College; and Rancho Santiago Community College District.
Linda has
served as the Orange County executive director for
American Women’s Economic Development Corporation, and
as director of the alumni network for the University of
Phoenix and its California campuses. In 2007, she
received the Woman in Business Champion Award,
presented by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Linda
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and
Communications from Wayne State University in Michigan,
and a Master’s in Business Administration from
Pepperdine University.
