Goals of the event are to present ideas and valuable information about the art of financing - techniques, that may include topics such as asset based lending, equipment financing, equipment leasing, venture capital, “angel” investors, alternative lenders, SBA loans, mezzanine capital, private placements, etc. – which can be used to allow your business to become more successful and expand.

Speakers and Expert Panelists:

Paul A. DeRidder, MD, MBA, Tech Coast Angels - a member of Tech Coast Angels, Executive Committee, a Southern California group of investors in early stage companies and holds several patents on medical devices.

Fayaz Karim, Extreme Pita – former business owner of various businesses, and is now a business/ broker/consultant and is also currently involved in franchising.

Katie Nguyen, OC SBDC – assists businesses create business plans, access business loans, and expand existing businesses.

Lisa Hazelton, Managing Director, Forward Funding LLC - founded Forward Funding LLC and executes commercial financing, including purchase order and accounts receivable financing.

Bill Pham, Blue Advent Partners – UCLA Law school graduate, past experience in capital raising and private equity transactions and is currently involved with equity investing.

Stacey Sanchez, S. CA Reinvestment CDFI – Executive Director for Southern California Reinvestment CDFI,assists businesses with alternative financing, also has experience in SBA financing.

Craig V. Butler, Esq., Lebrecht Group - practices law with emphasis in small & middle-market clients and securities related transactions / regulatory issues, private placements.

Scott Wingate, GamePlan Financial, Inc. - President of GamePlan Financial, Inc., a company that specializes in finance/treasury consulting and equipment leasing.
